Personal statement

I am a Biochemistry Teaching Associate in the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS). 

Before moving to a teaching position, I completed a PhD in Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry at the University of Edinburgh and was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Michigan, further focussing on the use of mass spectrometry as a tool for structural biology.

I am involved in the China Pharmaceutical University (CPU) University of Strathclyde Undergraduate programme, teaching in Nanjing, China as well as at Strathclyde.

My research interests are in protein biochemistry, protein structure, structural biology, and neurodegeneration.
